Warranty Policy

Aircraft Accessories International warrants that all current Repaired or Overhauled Accessories shall be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service in accordance to the following:

New Manufactured or Manufacturer Overhauled Accessories — OEM Warranty

Overhauled Accessories — 1 year or 300 Hours; whichever comes first.

The warranty period begins from the date of installation into the aircraft and such installation shall not exceed 1 year from the sale date, hence the warranty period will be reduced by the corresponding days greater than 1 year.

At the time of installation, the installing agency assumes all liabilities for the proper installation and operation of Accessory.

Accessories must be returned to Aircraft Accessories International within 30 days of product failure date and must be accompanied by a written explanation of failure/complaint and Accessory’s FAA Form 8130-3.

Accessories must not be disassembled, repaired, altered, subjected to misuse, accident, alteration or improper installation. Normal wear of service items shall not be considered defects under this warranty.

The duration of this Warranty shall be for the unused portion of the original warranty period. Any replacement unit or repair of the original unit, shall not establish a new warranty period.

The sole responsibility and liability of Aircraft Accessories International and your exclusive remedy under this claim arising out of, connected with, or resulting from, this sale or the performance or breach of any condition or warranty there under or from the delivery, or use of the product shall be the repair of, or replacement, or credit for the defective accessory at Aircraft Accessories International option.

In no event, whether as a breach of contract, warranty, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, shall Aircraft Accessories International be liable for any special, consequential, incidental, or penal damages or expenses, including, but not limited to, the cost of removal and replacement of the accessory, loss of associated equipment, damage to associated equipment, cost of capital, cost of substitute products, cost of troubleshooting, facilities, or services, down time, or cost of claims of third parties for such damages or expenses.

Customer will be responsible for in-bound freight charges associated with the unit’s return to Aircraft Accessories International for warranty evaluation. If warranty is granted, Aircraft Accessories International will return the accessory at our expense using same method of shipment as original purchase.

Once complete, return your warranty part along with the Warranty Request Form and Logbook entries showing installation/removal of the part.
